Isopathic

Under microscopic examination in 1916, Dr. Gunther Enderlein, zoologist and microbiologist, made a unique discovery. He observed that when a non-pathogenic form of an organism found on or in the body, was prepared as a remedy and combined with changes in the milieu, it actually down-regulated the pathogenic form of like organisms to a non-pathogenic form, thus reducing or eliminating the effects of that organism in the body.


Dr. Enderlein, directly from these observations, developed his homeopathically prepared isopathic remedies from fungal organisms that naturally may inhabit our bodies. The goal of therapy with Isopathic remedies is to downgrade or down-regulate the pathogenic forms of isopathic organisms to non-pathogenic forms for optimal function of the tissues, organs, and systems in which the organisms have been associated.


This type of therapy is diametrically opposed to eradication of a perceived problematic organism-based cause of disease or infection, which is typically the goal of therapy for infectious processes, such as overgrowth of  Candida or Strep throat.
